Alvaro Morata is expected to leave Atletico Madrid to join AC Milan in the coming weeks. The 31-year-old striker has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri, who will activate the release clause in his Atletico contract days after the 2024 Euro final.

Morata’s departure means Atletico have already parted ways with both forwards, having already parted ways with Memphis Depay at the start of the summer. New signings are definitely needed and according to Correio da Manha’s Thiago Silva (via MD ), Los Colchoneros are targeting Sporting CP’s Victor Choqueres.

“If there is no Morata, Atletico Madrid’s first choice will almost certainly be Joe Cres. I don’t know what it’s worth, but I have information. He has a high profile and, probably, Sporting CP’s biggest concern It’s Simeone.

Joe Kreis is coming off a staggering 43-goal season with Sporting Lisbon and will be a prolific player for Diego Simeone’s side. It remains to be seen whether further results will come from Atletico Madrid’s reported interest.
