Daniel Peretz will remain at Bayern Munich through 2024/25 despite interest from FC Bochum

Neuer and Ulreich’s age and injury records also played a role in the decision. Kompany hopes to go into next season with three senior goalkeepers to avoid having to sign a new one in the event of injury. Bochum are keen on a loan deal for Peretz to replace Manuel Riemann.

Peretz is in a strange position. He needs playing time – and appears to have options – but Bayern Munich will keep him around, competing for a role that may not be fully utilized with Manuel Neuer still in Bavaria.
