Liverpool have been linked with a number of players over the past few months as they prepare to start a new era under Arne Slott. The latest is Crystal Palace’s Michael Ollis, who the club hopes to sign in the summer transfer window.

Michael Ollis makes impressive comeback despite injury woes

Michael Ollis joined Crystal Palace from Reading in the summer of 2021. He impressed with his performance and managed to establish himself as a reliable name on the team sheet.

Olise has missed several games this season due to injury. Despite this, he still scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists in 19 games. He averaged 3 shots per game, 1.9 key passes and 2.1 dribbles (data from whoscored).

The French winger plays on the right wing and is an extremely talented player. He can score goals from close or long range and create chances for his teammates. As well as providing defensive stability, he is also effective at positioning the ball.

Mohamed Salah’s successor?

Michael Ollis is one of the most exciting talents in the Premier League at the moment. He has all the qualities required of a modern winger and is destined for greatness. If he continues to improve his game, he can write his own legacy.

As a result, the 22-year-old has attracted interest from several European clubs, including Liverpool. From a Liverpool perspective, the pursuit of Michael Olise is quite interesting considering they have Mohamed Salah on the right wing.

In addition, if the Reds want to get Olise, they will have to trigger the release clause of 60 million pounds. At present, it seems that the team is more willing to consolidate other aspects of the team. If not, they could still chase the needed winger as the Egyptian is likely to leave the club next season.
