The Merseyside outfit are long-term admirers of Bakayoko and were one of several Premier League sides to monitor his situation last summer.

PSV managed to retain Tiemoue Bakayoko, who was a key figure in the team’s 91 points and 111 goals in 34 league games to win the Eredivisie title in style.

Speculation over Bakayoko’s future has not gone away, with him still being linked with a move away from PSV this summer.

However, according to Dutch daily Eindhoven Daily, Bakayoko will only consider his future after the 2024 European Cup.

It is thought that there is still a possibility that Bakayoko may decide that his future lies outside PSV.

The winger will be a player that new Liverpool manager Arne Slott is very familiar with during his time in charge in the Eredivisie.

Signing a winger is on Liverpool’s agenda this summer.

He has two years left on his contract with PSV and the Reds may have to dig deep into their pockets to convince the Eredivisie champions to let him leave.
