Utrecht boss calls for Rangers loan to be kept

With the help of players on loan from Rangers, Jans has guided his Utrecht side into the Eredivisie playoffs and competing for a Europa League spot.

Utrecht are keen to strike a deal with Gers to keep him, but his form in the Eredivisie means competition is fierce and it would be an expensive move.

Jans is back to prepare for the new season with Utrecht and despite Ramos’ absence, he has not lost hope.

However, the coach admitted that the chances of bringing back Lammers from Rangers have now dropped to below 50%.

“We have not given up hope that Lamers will return,” Jens told Dutch broadcaster ESPN.nl.

“But I think the chance is less than 50 percent.”

Some have called on Clement to give Lammers a chance in his preferred forward role after the Gers used him to play as a No. 10 or even deeper.

It appears that the Rangers are looking to cash in on Lammers and recoup the money they spent to sign him from Atalanta.
